Come and Make Marmalade!

OUR award-winning preserves tutor Hazel Will is holding what promises to be a great morning of marmalade making (and all you ever wanted to know about it).

You will need to bring an apron, three tea towels, a mug and a bag or box to take your warm jars of marmalade home. You are welcome to recycle your own standard sized jam jars but you will need new lids – see Re-use of lids warning or email: hazelpreserves@gmail.com to discuss.

The £20 cost covers all ingredients plus tea/coffee/biscuits (please advise of any dietary/allergy requirements).

Payment should be made in advance to SFWI HQ to reserve your place. If paying by bank transfer quote SFWI, sort code 60-09-21, account number 01028499, giving your surname as a reference and email info@surreyfedwi.org.uk to inform them you have paid and making sure your name and the course you are paying for is clearly stated.

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
