Website Accessibility

We want to make your experience of our website as good as possible, we are committed to making it accessible and user-friendly, regardless of ability or access to technology.

Our website includes accessibility features and the website developers have performed manual testing with the goal of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone. They have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). This website had manual testing and endeavours to meet the majority of AA requirements.

Accessibility Helper Sidebar

We have implemented WP Accessibility Helper sidebar to provide accessibility tools and helps our site to be much more accessible.

Document downloads

Our publications and our other downloadable materials are mostly available as Adobe PDF files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download many of the documents on our website. If you do not have this software on your computer you can download it for free from Adobe.

Our links are clear and designed to make sense out of context. We show links in sentences in a different colour and bold.

Navigation Aids

You can return to the homepage at any time by clicking on our logo in the top left-hand corner of the page. The search function in the top right-hand corner of the page can be used to find specific pages as an alternative to using the Menu function. Both of these will appear on the website at all times as they are in a header which will always appear at the top of the page.

If you have any difficulty using our website, or if you find a problem on a particular page, please let us know by emailing or by using the form on our Contact Us page.
