The East Surrey Science Group is delighted to announce that Professor Trevor Jones, CBE, FMedSci, is to giving a talk to us on Wednesday, 30 September on Infectious Diseases (including Coronavirus) … Are We Winning the Battle?” (COVID-19 restrictions permitting).
Professor Jones will outline the current status of research to find treatments and cures for infectious disease and the issues relating to the availability and access to new treatment. He is former Director- General of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, a visiting professor at King’s College London and a former Head of Research and Development at The Wellcome Foundation.
