This talk entitled ‘Burlesque, Me and the WI’ has been wowing audiences far and wide via zoom since the start of lockdown.
Feedback has been fabulous and recently described by one WI member as ‘the best speaker I have ever heard in all my years as a WI member’ and by another as ‘ an amazing lady and gifted storyteller’, this talk will take you on a journey that most of us can relate to.
From empty nest to great success, via craft sessions and dance lessons, Lindsey will entertain you with the story of her burlesque and WI collaboration.
Burlesque and Mindfulness Teacher, Lindsey Barrell, aka Ms Cherry Bombe, has been a regular speaker on the WI circuit since 2014.
Lindsey has been a WI member for 8 years and is currently President and founding member of Tea N Tiaras WI in Chelmsford, Essex.
After discovering a passion for Burlesque, Lindsey started teaching it as part of a WI subgroup and her fabulous troupes can now be found entertaining the people of Essex and the Home Counties on a regular basis.
This event is open to everyone.
