Autumn Federation Meeting (2021)

At the present time, Dorking Halls do not know how many people they will be able to admit. It would likely be a significantly reduced number, and social distancing rules will still apply.

Postponed from March and October 2020, it must be third time lucky for the speakers we have booked below!

Amanda Owen needs no introduction to fans of the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm, the story of life with her husband Clive and their nine “free range” children at remote Ravenseat Farm, high in the Yorkshire Dales.
Alieda Moore is Deputy Agent for Greater London at the Bank of England who will speak about the ‘Colour Brave’.
Other speakers include ‘The Magic of Handbells’ – Duo Decimus and ‘The Orpheus Centre’ – Ann Lovelace and former pupils.

With these inspirational women speakers, this will be an event not to miss.

Tickets cost £16.00 per person and group tickets are welcome, but please include the name of the person(s) you are making the booking for.

IMPORTANT – Please read notes 1 to 8 below
1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
