Do you enjoy singing or perhaps flower arranging?
Well here is your opportunity to take part in both activities all on one day at Merrist Wood College. You don’t need to be an expert at either. The day will start with a demonstration from Floristry tutor, Lesley Prendergast. She will make three arrangements which will be raffled off at the end of the day.
After a break for coffee, you will divide in to two groups; group one will join Jane Masters for an enjoyable and informal singing session, whilst group two will join Lesley for a flower arranging workshop. After a break for lunch each group will have the opportunity to do the other activity.
At the end of the day the raffle for Lesley’s flower arrangements will take place; you might be the lucky member to go home with not just your own arrangement, but also one of Lesley’s. One raffle ticket will be given to each attendee so you’ll be “singing for joy”, all the way home!
Free Parking – There is a large car park on site with level and sloping paths and disabled parking close to the venue.
Cost is £45.00 which includes the cost of flowers for the workshop.
Tea/coffee will be provided, but members will need to bring their own lunch. Food may be available at the college café/restaurant, but conformation of this will be passed on to all successful applicants.

Closing date for applying; Friday May 27th, when a draw will take place if the course is oversubscribed. You may be able to apply after this date if there are still places available.
