Mosaics Day

Time: 10.00am-3.30pm

Location: Merrist Wood College, Holly Lane, Worplesdon, Guildford, GU3 3PE.

You will be making a large mosaic swaying droplet suitable for displaying in your garden. The workshop will include all materials you require including a steel mounting rod.

After you have created your droplet, the tutor will take the mosaics back to her Farnham studio where she will grout them and attach them to the mounting rods.

The completed mosaics will then need to be collected either from SFWI Headquarters or from a selection of “distribution points” around Surrey, hosted by trustees and other SFWI officials.

The cost of a ticket is £50.00

There is plenty of free parking and disabled parking available on site.

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
