Let’s get you hooked on Crochet!
Have you always wanted to improve your crocheting skills?
Then come along to this workshop at an Intermediate level being held at SFWI HQ, Guildford, when tutor Meriel Sexton will guide you.
Intermediates will start by revising the basic crochet stitches, slip, single, double, half treble, treble and double treble. Then we will use these stitches to make a small bag or purse which you may then line if you wish.
Crochet yarn and hook may be purchased from the tutor at an additional cost of £5.00 to £8.00 depending on the hook type selected. Or you may use your own if you have this.
You might not complete this item on the day but you will be able take home the materials required to complete your work.
Instructions for the different stitches needed for your bag will be provided and the picture shown on the What’s On events page is what you will be creating.
Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring your own lunch or you can buy something at the nearby Tesco.
Cost of this workshop is £15.00, payable before the day, once your place has been confirmed.
There are 12 places available for Surrey WI members only.
