Come and join our sewing workshop!

You will be making a soft toy rabbit. The limbs will be jointed using buttons so that it can be positioned in various ways, and features are embroidered on. A pattern and full instructions will be given – you will need to supply your own choice of fabric and the stuffing for your toy. Please bring a sewing machine in good working order and general sewing equipment; fabric scissors, pins, needles and thread, to complete your soft toy.

The tutor will liaise with all attendees prior to the day to advise on the most suitable fabric and the amount required and what else to bring.

The cost of this workshop is £40.00

Free parking is available at SFWI headquarters or nearby in the car park on the approach to the sports hall. Disabled parking can be reserved on request.

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
