Craft Activity Day

This ever popular activity day is being offered to members again next year, this time with Spring/Easter themed activities.

Up to 10 voluntary tutors will offer a range of activities on the day, each for up to 10 members. Applicants will select several activities in advance and you will be allocated two choices for the day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. All of our skilled tutors offer their expertise for the day on a voluntary basis; all materials required for activities are provided by the tutor. This is your opportunity to try your hand at different crafts.

The activities offered will include: a “quilling” Easter Greetings Card, a knitted primrose flower, a felt needle case, a rag rugging sampler, a felt Easter Wreath, and to tantalise your taste buds, lemon creams and truffles.

The cost of this workshop is £25 and you will be required to pay up to a maximum of £10.00 extra for each activity, depending on which you choose.

Coffee/tea will be available on arrival and a cheese ploughman’s lunch will be served between activities.

Free parking and disabled parking available on site.

IMPORTANT – Please read notes 1 to 8 below

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.

2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.

3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.

4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.

5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.

6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.

7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.

8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
