Join us for our next bowls taster day – friends and family all welcome!

Following a welcome and introduction with coffee and biscuits, the game of bowls today will be explained.

Then comes coaching in groups with six indoor rinks available.

At 1pm a two-course lunch will be served, followed by competitions with prizes, ending with a talk by an international bowler about her experiences in Singapore and China.

The group will have exclusive use of the indoor rinks and the dining room for the day. The bar will be open for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 12 noon. Please bring a pair of socks with you!

The all-inclusive cost of the day is £35, we meet at 10.00am for a 10.30am start and the day ends at 4.30pm.

Sutton Bowling Club is in Dorset Road, Belmont, Sutton, SM2 6JA. There is plenty of parking space.

The closing date for applications is Friday, 23 August 2019

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
