OUR popular London walks are back, this time with Gavin Webb, a London Blue Badge Guide.

Two walks have been booked for Tuesday, 3 March and Friday, 13 March. (Please make your booking from the event post for the date you require as this information is automatically included.)

We will be exploring Southwark, London’s first suburb, an area rich in literary links including Dickens, Chaucer and Shakespeare.

We meet at London Bridge Station, near the ticket barriers to platform 10 (upper concourse, near M&S) at 10.45am for an 11am start.The walk lasts approximately two and a half hours with a coffee break half way at an historic pub (to be paid for on the day). The walk ends by The Globe/Tate Modern.

The maximum number on each tour is 20 and tickets are £16 per person. The closing date for both walks is 7 February.

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
