This show is a good opportunity to promote the WI, show the public what we do and recruit new members from the large number of visitors it attracts.
This year’s theme was World Wide Adventure with 18 classes (including a Children’s Class for 3 different age groups) ranging from baking to crafting, sewing to painting, knitting to preserving, photography to felting so there is huge scope for individual flair and design.

WI members support shows by entering the competition classes (some of which the public can enter), and visit, along with the public, to see how their entries fared and admire the quality of craft and other skills on display. WI Advisers are on hand to answer questions about the WI and recruit new members. Thank you if you visited and especially if you took part by entering the 3 public votes.
