The 106th Annual Council Meeting of Surrey Federation of WIs will be hosted by our Co-chairs Angie Leach and Jill Mulryan and includes the Co-Chair’s and Treasurer’s Report, Award Presentations and the Federation Raffle.

Speakers:

Judi James – Judi James is one of the UK’s leading experts in behaviour and body language. Her expertise is highly sought after in broadcasting, corporate and public relations circles. She delivers insightful analyses of the body language of politicians, world leaders, celebrities and other public figures and has been invited to comment on national events including elections, Royal occasions, and the reality TV shows ‘Love Island’ and ‘Big Brother’. Judi will reveal all she knows about the messages our body language gives away!

Guide Dogs experts Anika Zeyen and Jane Manley – their Nose to Tail Exposé gives you the opportunity to reconsider everything you thought you knew about the history of guide dogs from the Roman Times to the present day. Anica Zeyen and Jane Manley, both guide dog users, talk us through the lives of their guide dogs Lassie and Rosie who have been loyal to their owners for many, many years.

and the Rhythm of Life Community Choir.

There will also be a good selection of craft, jewellery, beauty and country market stalls.

Tickets cost £18.00 per person (Free to 1 named delegate nominated by each WI).

Group tickets are welcome, but please include the name of the person(s) you are making the booking for.

Doors open at 9.00am.

1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
