The 105th Annual Council Meeting of Surrey Federation of WIs will be hosted by our Chairman Carol Gartrell and includes the Chairman’s and Treasurer’s Report, Award Presentations and the Federation Raffle.

Speakers:

Esme Young: Best known for her role as a judge on BBC1’s ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’, Esme Young is a fashion stylist and costume designer by trade, with a high-profile client list including Grace Jones, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Cher and Jane Asher. She also teaches pattern cutting at Central St Martin’s College encouraging students to transform their designs into garments.

Clandon Park: The Fire and The Future: A unique glimpse into the unique history of Clandon Park and what lies ahead for its restoration following the devastating fire, presented by one of the National Trusts’ Clandon Park volunteers.

Tickets cost £16.00 per person (Free to 1 named delegate nominated by each Surrey Federation WI).

Group tickets are welcome, but please include the name of the person(s) you are making the booking for.

Doors open at 9.00am.

IMPORTANT – Please read notes 1 to 8 below
1. Applications for tickets before the closing date cannot be guaranteed. Applications for tickets after the closing date may not be accepted. The office will email a confirmation that your application has been received.
2. If the event is oversubscribed at the closing date, then a ballot for tickets will take place and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
3. PLEASE NOTE – It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain a list of names of all those on whose behalf they are ordering tickets.
4. REMEMBER – Tickets may only be ordered if the applicant has paid the WI for them. WI funds cannot be used to cover the cost of tickets not required.
5. CANCELLATION – Tickets may be cancelled before the event closing date without charge, otherwise all tickets have to be paid for.
6. All tickets ordered online along with any other instructions and an invoice will be sent to the WI Treasurer for distribution after the closing date.
7. Non-members, where applicable, may order tickets by printing this completed form and sending it to the Federation HQ together with a cheque payable to ‘SFWI’ for the full amount of tickets ordered and a self-addressed envelope for the return of tickets and instructions. Individuals may also apply in this way.
8. REMINDER – Members are reminded that they take part in all events at their own risk.
