From Walpole to Johnson, 10 Downing Street has long been the iconic home of our Prime Ministers.
Yet few of us have been privy to what life is really like behind the famous black door.
We are pleased to be hosting a special talk about ‘Life in Number 10’ with former Special Advisor to Prime Minister Theresa May, Mario Creatura.
Mario will give us a tour of the building; shedding light on what it was like to work there and explaining how the heart of Government delivers on the priorities of the Prime Minister.
Mario was a Special Adviser in 10 Downing Street, serving Prime Minister Theresa May from 2017 until 2019.
He is married to Amy – a deputy headteacher at a special needs school. They are the proud parents of twin boys, born at East Surrey Hospital in June 2020.
His career has seen him working at the University of Surrey in Guildford, in Parliament, for global beer brand Heineken, and in the city for Virgin Money UK. He now works for Interel – a public affairs agency that supports companies including John Lewis, Sue Ryder, Waitrose and Expedia.
Mario has been an elected councillor in Coulsdon since 2014 and stood for Parliament in the 2019 General Election election.
This event is open to everyone.
The cost of a place is £5.00 and can be booked via Eventbrite.
