We are pleased to announce that Sally and Mark, NatWest Community Bankers, have kindly agreed to give a presentation on scam awareness.
Their talk will cover the basic mechanics of a scam including how people are targeted, how their data is sold and shared between different criminal gangs, how they then make their approaches and what people should do if they have been targeted.
In addition to covering phishing and smishing in general terms, they will cover at depth the three main scams currently on the rise (coronavirus, investment, and romance scams).
The event is being held via zoom.
This event is open to everyone.
