WI members and non members have the opportunity to study for and take the Food Hygiene Certificate during a one-day course. The certificate is required by anyone who sells food products at local markets such as Country Markets; who teaches food preparation and/or baking to groups, or who supervises the preparation of food within their own WI.
The course information booklet is sent to participants prior to the study and exam day so that they can familiarise themselves with the contents. This has resulted in a high pass rate among attendees.
